CADlib plug-ins
CADlib works in Internet Explorer 5 or later (other browsers may have difficulty accessing certain parts of the site). CADlib utilises Autodesk's i-drop® and WHIP! plug-ins.
i-drop®
If you already have a recent AutoCAD product installed on your computer, it's likely that i-drop® is already installed so you will not need to install it here.
You can find out more about i-drop® from Autodesk's web site at: http://www.autodesk.com/idrop.
WHIP!
For users of older AutoCAD products, CADlib provides support for the WHIP! plug-in. This will automatically install on demand. However, because of the download delay, if you would like to use it, it is preferable to install it from here before viewing CAD previews.
Please select either the Automatic or Manual Installation:
Automatic Installation - The plug-in will load straight into your browser.
Manual Installation - The plug-in can be downloaded as a program file to your computer's hard-disc and run locally. This option is useful for system managers where a number of computers may require the plug-in loading.
